ACCESSIBILITY
“One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in (and pretty wheelchair accessible)”
…The hotel is a Modernist dream - we felt like we were staying in something from the Jetsons / any 50's US sitcom. The light, the artwork, the serene atmosphere made this place incredibly special. We stayed in the Nat Reed room - his artwork is all around the lobby - and we had a beautiful patio with seating and a fire pit at the back. It was fairly easy for me to get around as a wheelchair user - the room wasn't accessible as such but it was on the ground floor and from the photos on the website, I knew I could manage the access. They have a number of fabulous ground floor rooms and also a pool hoist for disabled people to access the pool. if you're looking for something even more accessible - the sister property next door - La Serena - has a no. of ADA rooms, pool hoists and even hoists into the spa pools! The restaurant there is full of Frida Kahlo prints, there a giant unicorn inflatable in the pool and it's adults only! We loved these places and can't wait to return.
